Safeguarding & Policies

The well-being of all of our pupils is our first and foremost concern. The term safeguarding covers a range of functions that are designed to look after our pupils, from anti-bullying and online safety through to child protection.

All staff and volunteers who work within the school and meet the “regulated activities” criteria (Freedoms Act 2012) undergo enhanced DBS checks. Staff receive appropriate safeguarding training on an annual basis. The Governors have oversight of safeguarding and ensure that there is a named Governor with responsibility for Safeguarding within the school. If you have any concerns about safeguarding you should contact the Headmaster or any of the Heads of Schools, all of whom are trained to handle such matters.
